Board of Commissioners

Tim Schweizer is employed by the State of Illinois as a public service administrator for the Department of Natural Resources and also works as a sports reporter and broadcaster for WFMB Sports Radio 1450 in Springfield.

Tim graduated from Springfield High School in 1976, was awarded degrees in Business Administration and Political Science by Illinois State University in 1979 and received a MBA from Sangamon State University in 1984.

Tim Schweizer serves as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Springfield Housing Authority, the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club, the Friends of Brookens Library and the Springfield High School Hall of Fame, and is a member of the University of Illinois – Springfield Alumni Council. Tim’s term ends July 2013.

Daniel R. Long was named Executive Director of the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability (formerly the Illinois Economic and Fiscal Commission) in February 2000. The Commission is a legislative support agency which provides research and information concerning State and national economies, revenues, operations, pensions, group insurance and debt of State government.

Prior to his current position, Dan was Vice-President of Long Elevator and Machine Company from January 1995 to February 2000. The company designs, engineers and manufactures passenger and freight elevators for low-rise and high-rise buildings.

Dan has also served as Deputy Chief of Staff of House Republican Leader Lee A. Daniels, Assistant Director of the Department of Central Management Services and Deputy Director of Operations and Chairman of the Financial Review Committee for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs.

Dan received his Bachelor of Science and MBA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Dan’s term ends January 2012.

Donny Anderson is an organizer with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 58.

Donny is a 1998 graduate of Lanphier High School and the Capital Area Career Center. He has served as trustee for Local 90 executive board and has been a delegate to Trades and Labor for Local 90. Donny has also served as president to the Apprenticeship Committee for Local 58.

Donny currently serves as a precinct committeeman for Sangamon County and was recently appointed to serve on the Sangamon County Building Code of Appeals Board. Donny’s term ends April 2015.

Kenneth L. Crutcher currently serves as Director of the Office of Budget and Management for the City of Springfield.

Ken received a B.A. from Bradley University and holds a Master’s Degree from Chicago State University. In May of 1980, Ken was awarded his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.

Prior to his current position, Ken served as the Executive Director of the Flint Housing Commission. He has also served as Director of Business Services for the Chicago Housing Authority.

Ken is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. His term ends April 2015.
